Über drei Jahrzehnte habe ich die Zwischenmomente an Filmsets fotografiert: Crew in Ruhepausen, Schauspieler außerhalb ihrer Rollen, das organisierte Chaos der Produktion. Diese Bilder zeigen die menschliche Seite des Filmemachens, die nie auf die Leinwand kommt.

Über dieses Projekt
Filmsets sind seltsame Orte – Inseln intensiver Konzentration, umgeben von langen Phasen des Wartens. In diesen Lücken werden Menschen wieder sie selbst. Der Schauspieler hört auf, die Figur zu sein. Der Regisseur hört auf zu inszenieren. Das echte Leben taucht auf.
Fortlaufend
Dies ist ein fortlaufendes Projekt. Ich fotografiere bei jeder Produktion weiter und baue ein Archiv dieser flüchtigen Momente auf.
Technik
Aufgenommen mit Leica M (verschiedene Modelle) über drei Jahrzehnte. Alle Bilder schwarzweiß, meist Available Light.
About This Project
Film sets are strange places – islands of intense focus surrounded by long stretches of waiting. In these gaps, people become themselves again. The actor stops being the character. The director stops directing. Real life emerges.
Ongoing
This is an ongoing project. I continue to photograph on every production, building an archive of these ephemeral moments.

Shot on Leica M (various models) across three decades. All images black and white, mostly available light.

फिल्म सेट अजीब जगहें हैं – तीव्र एकाग्रता के द्वीप, लंबे इंतज़ार से घिरे। इन अंतरालों में, लोग फिर से खुद बन जाते हैं। अभिनेता किरदार होना बंद कर देता है। निर्देशक निर्देशन करना बंद कर देता है। असली जिंदगी उभरती है।

यह एक जारी प्रोजेक्ट है। मैं हर प्रोडक्शन में फोटो खींचता रहता हूं, इन क्षणभंगुर पलों का एक संग्रह बनाता हूं।
तकनीकी
तीन दशकों में Leica M (विभिन्न मॉडल) से शूट किया गया। सभी छवियां ब्लैक एंड व्हाइट, ज्यादातर उपलब्ध प्रकाश।
I set cinematografici sono luoghi strani – isole di intensa concentrazione circondate da lunghi tratti di attesa. In questi spazi vuoti, le persone tornano a essere se stesse. L'attore smette di essere il personaggio. Il regista smette di dirigere. Emerge la vita reale.

Questo è un progetto in corso. Continuo a fotografare su ogni produzione, costruendo un archivio di questi momenti effimeri.
Tecnica
Scattato con Leica M (vari modelli) nel corso di tre decenni. Tutte le immagini in bianco e nero, per lo più luce disponibile.
